Baking at 350 and getting 300 is a calibration or sensor issue. No heat at all points somewhere else — igniter, element, control board. Either way, guessing costs you food and time. Our techs test the oven's actual temperature rather than trusting the display. We see plenty of aging wall ovens in Cambridge homes, some installed decades ago and still worth fixing. If the door won't latch, the broiler is dead, or an error code keeps flashing, tell us what it says. Call us or send the quote form to get a tech out.

From Cambridge we also cover Somerville, Boston, Medford and Brookline, plus ZIPs 01801, 01803 and 01880.
Uneven results usually trace to one heating element working while the other doesn't, a sensor reading low, or a door that no longer seals. We test each in turn instead of guessing, then replace only the part that's actually off.
That clicking is the igniter trying. A weak igniter can glow without drawing enough current to open the gas valve. It's a common wear part. We measure the draw to confirm before replacing anything.
Often yes. Elements, igniters, sensors, hinges and gaskets are standard parts on most ovens. We look at what failed, whether parts are still available for that model, and give you a straight read so you can decide.
Yes. Wall ovens sit in cabinetry and sometimes need to be slid out for board or wiring access. In older homes that means careful work around trim. We plan the pull before we start.
Call us and we'll give you the next open window, often same week. Morning and afternoon slots both work. If you're in a walk-up or a building with permit parking, say so when you book so we plan the arrival right.
Call us or fill out the form. Describe what you hear, smell or see. Brand and rough age help. We ask a few questions so the tech arrives with likely parts on the truck.
Pick a window that works. Our tech tests the machine, checks power, water and drainage, then explains what failed in plain words. No jargon, no guessing out loud at your kitchen table.
Most jobs finish the same visit. If a part must be ordered, we tell you what and why. If the unit isn't worth fixing, we say that too, and you decide.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
Describe the fault, approve the written quote, get it fixed. Starting takes about a minute.
