Three cycles and the towels are still damp — that's a heat problem, not a you problem. Could be a burned element, a tripped thermal fuse, or a vent so packed with lint the air has nowhere to go. Squealing usually means a worn drum roller or idler. Around East Hampton we work plenty of stacked units crammed into hall closets, so tight access is normal for us. We service all major brands as an independent crew. Tell us gas or electric and what you hear when it runs. us, or drop it in the quote form.

We cover East Hampton and 23501, 23505, 23601 and 23607, plus Hampton just up the road, Newport News, Norfolk and Portsmouth.
Almost always airflow. Lint collects in the duct, the hood flap sticks, or a crushed flex hose behind the machine strangles exhaust. Heat builds, the dryer cycles off early, and clothes stay damp. We check the whole run, not just the screen.
Treat it that way. Stop the dryer, unplug it or shut the gas valve, and don't run it again. Scorched lint near the element or a failing motor both smell like that. Call us and we'll talk through what you're smelling.
Yes. Gas units add igniters, flame sensors and gas valve coils to the list of parts that fail. Electric units come down to elements, fuses and thermostats. We diagnose both, and we handle stacked and side-by-side setups.
Often, yes. Belts, rollers, fuses and elements are ordinary wear parts on a cabinet that's otherwise sound. If the drum is cracked or the bulkhead is rusted through, we say so plainly and you decide.
Usually within a day or two, and same-day is often possible if you call early. Give us the appliance, the brand, and what it's doing. Call us and we'll tell you the next open window instead of guessing.
Call us or fill out the form. Describe what you hear, smell or see. Brand and rough age help. We ask a few questions so the tech arrives with likely parts on the truck.
Pick a window that works. Our tech tests the machine, checks power, water and drainage, then explains what failed in plain words. No jargon, no guessing out loud at your kitchen table.
Most jobs finish the same visit. If a part must be ordered, we tell you what and why. If the unit isn't worth fixing, we say that too, and you decide.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
